The Liebester Award Tag

In case you wanted to know:

The winner of The Book Thief giveaway is TW Wright! Congratulations!

I apologize if this post is highlighted. I'm not sure how to get rid of it or how it even happened. . .

Lisa Canfield at Godsdaughter4ever tagged me in the Liebester Award. Thanks, Lisa! This sounds like fun. Here's the rules:

1. Thank and link back to the person who nominated you
2. List 11 facts about yourself
3. Answer the 11 questions asked by the blogger who nominated you
4. Nominate 9 bloggers who have fewer than 200 followers (you can’t nominate the blogger who nominated you)
5. Ask them 11 questions
6. Let them know about the nomination
           So eleven facts about myself.

1. I think eleven is a strange number. Why eleven facts? Why not ten or five like normal people would list? Or is the whole point to not be normal?

2. Uh, I play guitar. . .

3. I write. If you haven't realized that. :) And currently I write fantasy.

4. My mom is very practical and finds it funny when I talk about my characters "as if they're real people."

5. So I normally don't talk about my works in progress with my mom.

6. Oh, yes. And if I let my mom read my WIP she is always asking, "Is that real? Or did you make it up?" She doesn't understand fantasy. . . or sci-fi for that matter. Wait. Does this count as a fact about me, or my mom? But she's a part of my life. So I'm  counting as a fact about me.

7. I really like peanut butter. I usually have it in one meal per day. Sometimes more often.

8. Peanut butter chocolate chip muffins make an amazing breakfast. (That's general fact by of way, not just one about me ;)

9. I don't drink coffee. And I don't really drink tea. But I do drink chocolate milk. Everyday.

10. I clog. Yes, that is one of the most awkward looking words in the universe. Clogging is similar to tap dancing. But it's not. There's actually a lot of differences. And I
could be really geeky and tell you exactly what it is (I'm really wanting to), buuuut- I'll spare you the boredom. And, no, it has nothing to do with wooden clogs.

11.  I'm a ginger. If that matters to anyone. . .

And then eleven questions from Lisa Canfield. Really, people, I don't get this eleven thing. It's not even a dozen. It's not even even! It's just plain odd.

1. Batman or Superman?

Batman. But Spiderman is better. . . just saying.

2. Do you like to bake?

Sure. Peanut butter chocolate chip muffins.

3. Chocolate or peanut butter?

This makes no sense. That or ought to be an and.

4. Which is your favorite hair color: pink, blue, or green?

Um, none of these are real hair colors. But there is this girl in choir who dyed her hair cotton candy pink. Then it was blue. Like blue raspberry blue. And now it's cherry red. So I'll say blue.

5. What nationality are you?

American. But everyone knows that America is a melting pot. Are you ready? Irish, Scottish, German, English, just enough Iroquois to claim to be, and a quarter Japanese (and somehow I'm a ginger. . .).

6. What’s your favorite ink color?
I don't know. Black. Why not?

7. Do you do your own thinking or allow others to just give you the information?

I prefer to think for myself. I have a brain of my own, right? That means it's capable of producing thoughts of its own.

8. Honestly, how many friends do you have? Not acquaintances, but honest-to-goodness-friends.

Two. Maybe.

9.  Do you believe the ends justify the means?

Uh. No.

10. Do you work well under pressure or snap?

May I say both? When I feel pressured (and usually it's me who puts me under pressure :P), I tend to give my best. But after so long of giving my best, I burn myself out.

11. If you had to change your name, what name would you pick?

Nobody. Parker. Or maybe the Dread Pirate Roberts. I don't know. Why would I have to change my name? That interests me more.

The nine (another odd number) bloggers I nominate and tag are:

Jack @  However Improbable

Katelyn Sabelko @ Whisperings of the Pen

Chelsee @ Heart of a Song Writer

And, um, that is all. Because I'm feeling rebellious like that. Anyone else who wishes to take part and answer the questions, then. . . I tag you too. :)

And your questions are:

1. If you were a superhero, what power would you have?

2. What is your favorite movie?

3. If you could have anything you wanted for breakfast, what would it be?

4. Who is your favorite villain?

5. Doctor Who or Sherlock?

6. Favorite song lyric?

7. A movie quote you use the most:

8. Would you rather be a hobbit so you could have second breakfasts, and go on adventures with dwarves, or a Ranger so you could use cool weapons, and defend your kingdom?

9. What is the most poetic thing you have ever thought/written?

10. Are you a night owl or morning person?

11. What is something  you tend to rant about? (can you answer that without ranting? ;)

Ta-da! I have finally finished this post. And I apologize for the length of it. Ahem.

By of way, school is almost over! I am so excited. :)

  1. You can tell me, I am interested. What is clogging?

Change it to The Dread Pirate Roberts. Everyone needs to be the Dread Pirate Roberts at least once in their lives.

    1. I'm thinking about doing a whole post on it. It'd be a lot of fun. :)

I may have to acquire a mask first. ;)

  2. I agree...it's chocolate AND peanut butter. I too eat peanut butter like at every given opportunity. And ohhh, peanut butter and chocolate muffins are fabulous for breakfast. OR peanut butter and chocolate WAFFLES. With nutella. Um...sorry, I'm drooling all over my computer. x)

    1. Waffles?! That exists? You have just made life happier. :)
